Well, you knew sooner or later the film industry was going to exploit it.
That's two (2) films, two (2) television movies, and one (1) mini-series. Go team!
I'm really excited about the Nicholas Cage as a cop trapped in the World Trade Center rubble. This sounds like it could be a pretty good plot for a new Robocop movie, where Robocop comes and pulls everybody out of the rubble and fewer people die. Robocop and The Incredible Hulk.
edit: I have a good idea, guys. You do a love story about two lovers who work in the World Trade Center. In the end, they would hold hands and jump out. It would be called "Falling For You" and would be a real tearjerker!
