A Poem
About Trig. Input is welcomed. Or you know, if you just wanted to laugh at me. Bear in mind, this is not voluntary
sines and cosines and tangents; oh my!
triangles again? i think i might cry!
secants, cosecants, cotangents; galore!
three more functions? no more, no more!
sine + cosine somehow makes 2cotangent
just attach alpha, beta, delta, or that strange gamma
proving fuctions -- i'll always get stuck
perhaps i've just got bad luck
unfortunately for me it seems
that trigonometry is a necessity
i'm sure i speak for all of us
it could be worse -- at least it's not calculus
i used to complain, rant, and cry
when it was time to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
however, today's efforts make me remember
just how good it was before september
trigonometry -- what a curse
just like this mathematical verse
