I'm a girl. Such a girl. This will be the last consecutive update in relation to this topic. I promise. People don't generally invite you to sit on their laps unless they're interested, right? Cause that's the impression I get. Oh man, I bet he got teased for that. Or I did. I'm not sure which. Oh well.
Today, I did not go to school, and that was fantastic. Instead, Guru and Eugene came over to my house (twenty minutes late, of course we won't mention that i thought i had been forgotten) an picked me up, drove to school to find Laura, and then proceeded to go to Annapolis to play with our robot for a bit. This was not as fun as the VCU regional, the Naval Center is a pain to get to, and the atmosphere was...somewhat lacking. After our robot broke (lift mechanism, pop rivets, et. al.) and we totally lost a match; Laura, Guru and I headed back to school. I felt like we were skipping, even though we weren't. Exciting. It was kinda funny though, there was this cop when we were getting onto 50, and three teenagers, in a semi-sporty car, during school hours, looks suspicious. But then he drove past us, at apparently, a high rate of speed. Speed limit? Ha, what speed limit? Crazy kids with lisences. (and as an odd aside, listening to hip hop while one is going at high rates of speed is.. more enjoyable than i thought it would be.) We had food at Bejing's and skipped back to school, where i staffed for festival doing absolutely nothing for about and hour and a half. And then I got stuck with Northwestern, and man, the director was a prick. I don't think he said thank you to me once. Way to be appreciated. Oh well, I get extra credit for it -- and I need it, really desperately.
