My world spins madly on, you're my only constant
Being the President is the best and the worst job ever. The best because it's rewarding to see how people working with you take on the reins, grow not only in confidence but also in influence in handling people and projects. And it's also about watching people come together, watching efforts and hardwork pay off. Pretty exciting. Bad because well, you're the first to get shot, first to take the blame, you have to be there and be that pillar of strength even though you're exhausted, even though you just want to snuggle up in a corner and hide. It's about doing the right thing, what's best for others, not about catering to your whims and fancies.
I finally have time to hit the books after this week. Goodness I hope it's not too late to ketchup!
The past few weeks have been nothing short of intense, and surprisingly amazing. I have never been happier. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying.
