I can't justify D*C anymore, its too expensive, too painful, and too many people.

i haven't gone in years.

I've been in the vicinity a couple times in the last 5 years to meet up with people coming in town, and i crashed panel rooms for a couple hours with Matt in a hotel where staff presence seemed thin, but thats it.

I basically only paid to goto D*C twice. Once the year of AWA1 and the following year. Once i was hooked into AWA, it became pretty clear how much they treated AWA people like garbage...

People run that thing? Seriously, I've been in Trader Vics more than some event which requires a badge. A lot more.
