Gavin had actually managed to get a letter composed to Commander Antilles that didn't make him sound like a raving lunatic who needed an immediate intervention.
Still, he couldn't resist adding something that would make the Commander's eyebrows go up. Maybe he'd show it to Captain Celchu or even Lieutenant Horn and ask for their input. Maybe the whole squadron would end up talking about him.
Maybe he just missed them that much that he was willing to sacrifice his reputable mental health in hopes they'd remember him.
