Endocrinologist #1 finally let me switch thyroid medications from Synthroid to Armour *does happy dance*. I've been on it almost a week and I think my body is adjusting to the change.. Currently on 1 grain / 60mg for those of you also on Armour Thyroid. PLEASE any of you also on Armour PLEASE share your experiences with me. I am crossing my fingers that this will be some kind of magic bullet and kick in and clear up a lot of problems I've been having (yeah right).. but hey.. it can't hurt!
I got a robotic vacuum cleaner and you are all so jealous. Hey.. I am big on investing in things that could help make my life easier. Now if they could come up with a robot to clean my shower and do my laundry... BTW, I named him Buster.
I have to somehow wake up at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow to take care of a traffic violation ticket from a year and a half ago. My dad is taking me to traffic court (or whatever you call it) and we have to be there at 8:30am.. which is the middle of the night for me. I'll most likely just pull an all nighter. This is funny considering I have barely been driving lately.. (Ironic how I can't even drive myself to the court.) I just want to get up there in front of the judge and be like "Don't worry I don't think it'll happen again.. Can't drive much anymore.. Don't have to worry about me speeding anywhere anymore..."
My poor mommy has to go for surgery on Friday to get kidney stones removed :( They never passed from Thanksgiving.. so they are gonna surgically remove them. I worry anytime anyone has to go under anesthesia.. so please think of my mom on Friday and send good vibes. I just hope they can finally figure out what kind of stones they are so she can prevent them from ever forming again and she'll never have to go through this again. Oh.. and thank you mitchy22 for giving me that link to all the info.. I read through lots of stuff and printed stuff out and gave it to my mom ... she says thank you! AND I found an article (by accident) on how one of the medications she takes for migraines can cause kidney stones!
Mitch and I went to see the medium/psychic/whatever you call him John Edward on Friday but we didn't get read :( I got my hopes up again (we saw him last December too). The show was good, but the readings he did weren't as moving as last year. He seemed like he was in a bad mood or something. I guess everyone is entitled to their bad days.
Thank you so much to afterlifekid for helping me clean the ice off my car Thursday! I can't believe how you go above and beyond to be a good friend to me. And I can't wait to celebrate holiday doomz with you! We have to go look at all the Christmas lights (I think we started a tradition now!)
