bulleted randomness cus you love it

  • I am really nauseous right now cus I think I ate some rancid medjool dates that have been in the fridge way past their prime. I just threw them out.

  • I got 7 vials of blood taken this morning. I am finally able to go to my CFIDS/Fibromyalgia doctor specialist / internist again after not being allowed to see him for a year because of health insurance issues. It's a relief to see him again.

  • I found out today that they are finally getting results from the DNA study I participated in 2 years ago.. The nurse is going to print out stuffs and give it to me when I go back to go over my blood work. I guess it takes a long time to analyze DNA :/ Nevermind.. I just found the stuffs I was looking for online :) I just looked up the doctor in London who was running the study (Dr. Jonathan Kerr.. my doc collaborated with him) and found this: http://www.cfsrf.com/research-current.htm
    and this http://www.cfsrf.com/Publications.htm
Okay.. it looks like these 2 papers are about the results of the study I was in:

    http://www.cfsrf.com/pdf/JCV-CFS.pdf
I can't wrap my head around all this right now cus I'm drained.. I think I have to print out all this and attempt to read it tomorrow.

  • I also found out that if my endocrinologist does not let me switch my thyroid medication from Synthroid to Armour like I so desperately want, the internist will prescribe it for me :) I've only been researching these meds for like 4 years now. I just know way too many people that do so much better on Armour.. I've read so much about it.. I am desperate to try it. So I see my endocrinologist (endo #1) in December.. so we'll see.

  • Situation kimchi has not been resolved as I previously thought. I had a broken English discussion with the mother of the Korean family downstairs today. She was really nice. She said she is using the vent system the landlord put in in the kitchen, and she uses air deodorizing sprays, but it's not working. My apartment is still stinky and it makes me nauseated. For reals. I explained to her how I am very sensitive to smell and she seems to understand. She said she'll "try" harder to "take care of the smell" but I know that's not really possible.. so I then called my landlord and explained to him that the vent isn't working out as we hoped.. so he said he'll try to install a thing called an "ozone generator" to see if that gets rid of the stench. The only problem is that when I looked up what an ozone generator is, it seems a little harmful. (He actually told me to look it up online.. he wanted me to make sure I wanted one.. I had no idea what it was , but I told him "anything to get rid of the stink because it is making me miserable"). So I need some smart people's opinions.. Do you think getting an "ozone generator" would be dangerous to my health? Personally I think the kimchi stench is more dangerous to my health..

The funny thing is that she even told me how sometimes she can't even stand the smell.. and how when relatives come over to visit they complain about the smell.. and how she smells it when they return home after being out.. WELL THEN WHY DO YOU COOK STINKY FOOD? I really don't get it. I think it's just a cultural thing and she HAS to cook it.. I mean she even phrased it like that.. she said "I have to cook it". Umm..okay. Sorry I'm all obsessed and hung up on this kimchi thing.. I just don't get it and it makes me ill and the stench has permeated my soul to it's very core.

  • *HUGS mitchy22 tight and hopes he feels better soon*
