Robert Moog RIP

Aug 23, 2005 07:55

Robert Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer passed away a few days ago. If any of you are into music technology/equipment, then you know how important his role in the shaping of current music is. Almost EVERYBODY in the 70's used a Moog: The Beatles, Sabbath, Bowie to name a few. Luckily we have his equipment and the Switched on Bach records to remember him by.

Or at least I do.

Last night at work was easy and went by real fast. I have tonight off so I plan on doing some skating and seeing 40 Year Old Virgin with my sister tonight.

Yesterday I bought a biography on Che Guevera and a book on Buddhism. Both are really good and I am very interested in Buddhist thought. I tried some light meditation yesterday and it felt great. I felt very posi and full of energy.

I also bought The Om CD because I couldn't listen to the record anywhere besides in my room.

What a long post.
