This Post.
Percy pulled his hat down over his eyes slipping through the night sliding past people to reach the club
Oliver prided himself in the fact that he didn't do a cartoon double-take and scramble up the wall like he wanted to. There, staring from a mass of purple fabric, was his Percy's face--not his Percy's eyes, these were wilder, wiser, more knowing somehow. That was ridiculous, of course--demons didn't just go around posessing unassuming, meek miistry officials. "Perce? What've you got on? You look like you've been in Pappa Lorne's closet...have you been sniffing your ink?" he crossed his arms, regarding Percy with wary, narrowed eyes.
Percy smirked a little narrowing his eyes at him, "No, I'm afraid not." He replied lifting his hat and running a hand through his hair.
"uh...huh." Oliver nodded, as if Percy were making a lick of sense, and approached the taller man, tipping his head at him. "you've gone and changed since you got tired of me, eh? Must've been holdin' you back." he flicked a finger beneath the wide lapel of Percy's suit and grimaced at the hat.
Percy frowned softly, "He never got tired of you, you walked away." He murmured looking at the finger
"he? Perce?" Oliver bent a little to look beneath the rim of the hat at Percy's face, noting again the eyes that were most certainly NOT his ex-boyfriend's eyes. "you told me I was a--" Oliver frowned and straightened, glaring a bit at the feather sticking from the hat. "we've had this argument before, haven't we Perce? You were tired of me, and I was tired of you not trustin' me. And why're you saying "he" and wearing purple pimpsuits?"
Percy raised his brows, "It is not a purple pimpsuit." He muttered. "You were the one who walked away, so you're the one who made the decision not I." He replied stepping back with a shrug before smirking, "Pity you haven't seen me the last couple of days, I would've given you a run for your money sugar."
Oliver shook his head wearily and held out a hand, backing away a step. "m'not arguin' Percy. It's ov--" he cocked his head and looked closely at Percy's face--his...SMIRKING face? Percy did not SMIRK. Percy grimaced and smiled and occasionally grinned if prompted--but smirk? No. "did you just call me sugar? Are you sure you're a'righ? You've not been in the Ministry's infectious magical ailments department again, have you?" he reached out to lay his hand against Percy's brow.
Percy pulled his hand back. "He doesn't need you so toddle off. I'm going to show him a good time." The red head replied.
"He.....look, whatever you are, he doesn't need YOU so you'd best leave 'em alone before I turn you out myself!" Percy drew away and Oliver grabbed at his arm, ignoring the fact that he was NOT dressed in fighting gear, in his hotpants and a long jacket to cover him from the cold. "what are you? What're you doing to Percy?"
It grabbed Ollie's hand," I'm not doing anything to him, just borrowing him for a little while. He's not using his body."
"he sodding well WAS!" Oliver shouted, pulling at Percy's coat lapel. "you can't just BORROW him! He's....it's....you can't DO that!" he took a breath and dragged Percy in close, putting them nose-to-nose. "you leave him alone, you hear me? He may not be mine anymore, but he's sure as hell not yours!"
He smirked, "I won't use it long, 70 years at the most."
Oliver pulled at Percy as gently as he could, pushing him against the wall, pinning him there, eyes wide and bright in the streetlight overhead. The booming bass from inside Caritas carried through the brick wall into Percy's body and through Olivers, he could feel it where he pressed against him. "you won't use it another fucking second--you get out of him or I swear I'll come in after you..." he blinked slowly, wondering exactly HOW he'd do that, but he fished his wand out of the jacket pocket with one hand anyway.
Percy smiled slightly resting his hand over Oliver's, "You really think you could hurt this body? This one you dream about every night? "
Oliver didn't answer, his wand held at the ready, tip firmly pointed at the sky. Of course he couldn't hurt Percy--never...ever...even to save him. Well, maybe to save him, but..not from something like this. "you don't know me" he hissed softly, casting around purposefully for something to do...anything.
"No?" I know regardless of the fact that this boy thinks you're tired of him, that he's dull and ordinary, that this body can induce grown men to mere drooling dogs. And I like that...I like that a lot.
Oliver'd always known Percy thought less of himself--no matter how often he'd lain awake at night showing him--telling him with heated touches and desperate little bites that he was gorgeous...and all his--Percy never understood. Maybe that's part of what he'd loved about Percy--that he really had no idea. He ignored the other voice for a moment, looking hard into Percy's eyes, not sqinted at all despite that fact that his glasses were gone. "Perce? Perce? You're in there, I know you are....talk to me.....I'm sorry, I"m sorry this happened, but you have to come talk to me, a'right?"
The man's smile faltered a little and he tightened his jaw, "No you don't, you think it's that easy. You're never getting him back. Hey, you should feel flattered, now he can pine for you forever."
Oliver grit his teeth so hard he could hear his jaw creaking. His wand clattered to the ground and he pressed close, his body fully against Percy's--but not in the pleasant way, more in the "I'm pinning you here so you don't run away" kind of way. Without further argument he whispered Percy's name and captured Percy's mouth with his in a long, hard kiss. "you have to give him back to me" he murmured inbetween biting kisses, his hands pinning Percy's shoulders to the wall. "he's mine, you have to give him back."
The red head writhed and bucked, biting and yelling his frustration. For mere flickers the kiss softened and sorrowful blue eyes appeared trapped and helpless before they disappeared the lithe bdy trying to escape the stronger athlete.
"No you don't" He bit out trying to pull away the hat tentatively hanging on, on his head, his eyes beginning to glow.
Oliver let loose a low growl when he saw Percy's eyes change, and strengthened his efforts, slipping a thigh between Percy's legs to keep him pinned while he worked his hands up Percy's shoulders to his neck to his jawline, where he held on tightly, forcing Percy's lips apart with his own. "don't mess with a Keeper, you git....we always get what we want...and protect what's ours." One hand slipped into Percy's short hair, rifling through it, and half-knocking the hat askew. Oliver blinked slowly at the glow in Percy's eyes and intentionally bumped the hat again, his mouth still against Percy's, their breath mingling. "don't like that, hnh? S'what what's keepin' you here?"
The eyes flashed with each knock of the hat and each deepening kiss, "No! You're nothing, your worse than nothing, do you really think he'd want you back. He's just being Oliver, usual Oliver, good to everybody but he doesn't want you its all an act. You're not worth fighting for." The creature hissed fighting the tearful blus eyes as an inhuman cry tore from its throat.
"nothing" Oliver murmured back, sucking Percys lower lip into his mouth, tugging gently, then harder, making tears stand in Percy's wide eyes. "m'nothing....'an I don't care. He's not yours. If I can't have 'em you can't either..." Oliver began kissing again in earnest, his coat half-pushed from his arms, hands deep inside Percy's jacket, spanning his too-bony ribs, the soft curve of his lower back. They fought for supremacy for long moments, Oliver's muscles straining against Percy's, sounds becoming desperate and pained. Finally Oliver tugged hard at Percy's hair, tipping his head back and nearly completely dislodging the hat. He pulled back as it slipped further, revealing a close-cropped shock of red hair. "gotcha" he whispered, as he tore the purple monstrosity from his Percy's head.
The hat fell to the floor landing in the puddle of lamplight and Percy slumped forward in Oliver's arms unconscious.
Oliver caught Percy deftly, though it surprised him and he had to get himself beneath his ex-boyfriend before he fell to the wet concrete beneath them. For one panicked moment he was convinced taking the hat away had killed Percy, and he kicked it aside as he went to the ground, bare ass in a puddle of cold water, his Percy curled up in his lap. "Perce....PERCE!" he slapped pale, freckled cheeks and leaned his head close, listening for breath.
Soft warm breaths left Percy's lips as he lay, so pale, drawn and thin in Oliver's arms.
a cold tear slipped from his closed lids tracking down him freckled cheek his hair blown by the cold wind.
Without a further thought, Oliver gathered his legs beneath him and pushed to his feet, Percy's taller body cradled against his chest. Percy's legs and arms were long and ungainly, but he managed, glaring at the hat and giving it a savage kick as he shuffled by. The side door to Caritas was open, held ajar by a tiny rock, and he pushed in, making his way to the Dinew flat stairs. Getting Percy up them was a little difficult, but Oliver forged ahead, ignoring the ache in his shoulders as he hefted Percy up two flights and found an available bed to spread Percy out on. They were both wet from the drizzle out, and Percy immediately made a person-shaped wet spot on the coverlet. "Perce...can y'hear me? c'mon...Perce?" he patted Percy's cold cheeks gently and scrambled up to find a towel in Tonk's room, shedding his overcoat as he ran.
The red head mumbled stirring, worn out devastated blue eyes blinking into the light. "Ollie?" He whispered looking around him for the keeper
Oliver darted from Tonk's bathroom, knocking over a mound of dirty clothes and a shelf of toiletries on his way out. Usually far more accustomed to grace than his numb, confounded feet, he managed to somehow make it over to the bed with the towels without breaking anything important. "'m'here, Perce....sokay..here.." he gingerly began to unbutton Percy's damp shirt, peeling it from his long, cold arms with sure fingers. He towelled Percy's hair dry and snugged the blankets up around him, thumping his shoes to the floor before covering him up completely. "scared me to death, Perce...going out and getting yourself posessed..." he ducked in to kiss Percy quickly. settling down beside him, his body curled close.
Percy blinked and curled into him staring at Oliver's body in surprise, "Am I awake?" He whispered. "Why...tell me it was a dream. that you never walked away..." He whispered
Oliver pulled him close, unthinkingly, ignoring the twinge of discomfort Percy's wide, sad eyes and trembling voice gave him. "I never walked away" he mutttered softly, brushing Percy's hair from his forehead with calloused fingers. He smiled crookedly, humourlessly to show Percy he wasn't being truthful. "I'm here, Perce...and I swear...I swear I'm here for as long as you'll let me stay. Forget...let's just forget it all." He stroked the sharp angle of Percy's cheekbone with his thumb, leaning close. "you alright? It didn't hurt you, did it? You're all in one piece?"
He nodded, "I'm sorry." He whispered softly. "I'm so so sorry." He murmured into his skin. "You can flirt with whomever you like. I know...I know I can't compete with them I just...Just need you to come home please. Do what you like over there I won't stop you just don't leave me in that empty flat without you."
Oliver knew this was the point where he'd say anything, anything to make Percy happy again--knew that if he wasn't careful, he'd say something that would be a lie to them both....something that would hurt him....them later. He paused only a moment to consider, his eyes slipping shut. "Percy, I swear, I swear I will never walk away from you again. I'll still do my job...and you know me.." he opened his eyes and framed Percy's face with his hands. "you know who I am...and what I do....but no one is ever, ever going to keep me from you. ever. No one else means anything. I'll come home. I'll come home and take care of you and never leave you again."
"You don't hate me for holding you back...calling you those things?" He whispered
"Stopping you from from..being with those other men." He murmured glancing away quietly.
"Or even thinking that I should control you like that...like you didn't have free will."
"I was those things" Oliver murmured softly, tucking the blanket beneath Percy's chin. I am those things. When I'm without you. When I'm with you Perce, it's different....I swear it is. I don't like who I am when you're not with me." he wrinkled his nose at the "Playwitch monthly romantic special" declaration and shivered a bit in his cold, wet hotpants. "I don't want to be with anyone else, I swear. I know you want me to be like other men, and you know I can't be exactly like that....I'll always...do things and make you mad....but I'll try, Percy, I swear I'll try."
Percy shook hie head wrapping his blanket around Ollie, "I don't want you to be like everyone else...I want you to be Ollie, my Ollie." He whispered nuzzling and I swear I'll do my very best not to get jealous ever again, you can hex me if I do." He whispered with a ragged breath.
Oliver slid against the now-warm Percy, his cooler skin tingling against the redhead's. "hex you to kiss me every time I say "quidditch" he whispered against Percys ear, nuzzling the soft place where jaw joined neck. "you're ok, right? Nothing hurts? I can get Tonk's kit, she's got some potions stored in there."
"Percy smiled a little "not quite the hex I had in mind but if you like." He whispered long velvet clad arms and legs wrapped around Oliver. "Nothing hurts, I'm ok ...oh no" He whispered his eyes widening as he pulled back a little and grimaced. "Oh Merlin, please forgive me." He whispered his eyes widening in panic as he looked at the keeper.
"bwuh? F'r what?! What's the matter? Are you alright?! did someone do something....something to you?" he remembered the feral, lusty glint in the demon-Percy's eyes and it occourred to him that the thing may have...."used" Percy.
He frowned softly. "I couldn't control him. I'm so sorry, I tried he was just too powerful..."
Oliver covered Percy's mouth with his, murmuring quiet sounds of negation. "doesn't matter, Perce. I don't care. It's....shh....I know..." he soothed Percy, stroking the back of his neck, palm running up and down his back, vertebrae standing out against his hand. "it doesn't matter what......what you did, as long as they didn't hurt you....did anyone?" he pulled back a little, hands still on Percy's body, eyes serious and dark.
He shook his head his fingers pulling lightly at Oliver's arms, "I kissed him...Seamus."
Oliver grinned down at Percy, his cheeks dimpling momentarily, then taking on a more serious expression. "I'm sorry it must have been horrible."
Percy huffed, "you're laughing aren't you?"
He replied, affronted that his indescretion seemed unimportant but relaxing as he they fell into old familiar patterns.
Oliver kept a straight face, for a miracle and shook his head solemnly. "I am not, I know he must've tasted like the bottom of seventeen kinds of liqour bottles, is all. Here, lemme fix that." he grinned finally against Percy's lips, teasing, whispering against them for a moment before licking gently into Percy's mouth, tasting him again finally after such a long, long while. He "hmmd" in appreciation and cuddled his....boyfriend close.
Percy smiled and kissed him back ever so deeply, his mouth earnest and full of longing his hand coming up and cupping the back of his neck as they kissed. "Was that our first fight?" He whispered as he broke for breath.
"mmhmm" Oliver mouthed against Percy's cheek where he was currently nuzzling, his hands drifting sneakily all over Percy's body, checking him for anything out of the ordinary. "you 'an me, Perce-we don't do anything by halves do, we? Not every couple gets a demon hat involved in their first fight."
Percy smiled and blushed a little as he nuzzled, "Then perhaps we should apparate home..for our first after fight make up...session." He whispered
There was a flurry of movement beneath the covers, Oliver rummaging about in his sporran for the focus object that would bring them both home. There was a quiet snap and they disappeared, leaving a mound of covers, a purple suitcoat, and a few damp towels in their wake. Oliver realised at the last moment apparating while lying DOWN wasn't a grand idea, and managed to break Percy's fall with his body as they arrived at the flat. He refused to let Percy stand, instead picking him up again and carrying him bodily into the bedroom where he laid him out and stripped him slowly, going over every inch of pale skin he'd missed so much.
Percy groaned softly and pulled him down with him kissing him passionately, "I've missed you." He whispered before his whispers gave way to gasps and moans, soft declarations of love the only thoughts now in Percys very singular mind.
Oliver and Percy didn't speak for quite some time, the only sounds filling their once-lonely flat the sounds of skin against skin, quiet moans and the creaking of ancient bedsprings. Oliver wiped away every foriegn touch, the prints of every other man or woman who'd touched Percy during their time apart, and filled his skin with his own bites and marks. He plundered Percy's mouth again and again, whispering nonsense, pleading in soft tones, rebuilding the space that had seperated them. Light eventually broke over the horizon, a flare of amber softness in the dark room, and sunrise found Oliver curled protectively around Percy, body sheltering him, finally at peace, at home again.
