i'm a twentysomething ...at last
So it was my 20th bday on Wed, and it has been a pretty excellent birthday! had a couple of visits from mates, lots of bday calls and emails, very very nice! i feel so loved :-)
My parents are officially my fave ppl EVER - their present to me was my shiny new MacBook. oh it's so pretty, and silvery and did i mention shiny!
I'm not having actual 20th bday celebrations til after exams, so that'll be on Fri 23rd [everyone's invited - Grapes that includes you, but i understand if you can't make it ;-) Just fly to Perth to hang out with me in northbridge, why not?] My bro got me the only present i had actually asked for - a Little Britain card. It's so great! it's got the Stage hypnotist on the front, and it came with a badge saying "LOOK INTO MY EYES, NOT AROUND THE EYES! NOT AROUND THE EYES!" I'm wearing it everywhere, and ppl keep squinting at me and staring into my eyes. i don't know what they expect to see there. lol.
So good to finally be 20. Mentally i feel about 21/22 (some would say i'm more like 8 mentally, but those ppl are smelly). anyway my body is slowly catching up. i've just found out i'm not 6feet small anymore - i'm now 6 ft 1 inch! what the hell?! how can i STILL be growing? bah.
it's soooooo cold here. and it's deceptively sunny. At the moment the only warm room in the house is our living room, so my entire family is crowded in here, all doing our own thing.
Can't wait to get my results back for the semester. particularly for my Language & Writing folio-book. I put a lot of effort into it, i hope they like it.
