In Finding Neverland, Johnny Depp Plays J.M. Barrie, the playwrite who wrote Peter Pan. It has a bitter-sweet ending with a aftertaste of hope and love.
I've come to find out that such an ending doesn't quite reflect the face of true life events...
"In real life, the Davies boys' father was still alive when they met Barrie - he later died of cancer - and three of the brothers (there were actually five, not four) met fates that are sadder than anything in the movie. (Two died as young adults while Peter, hounded by unwelcome celebrity because of his connection to the play, threw himself under a train at age 60.)"
Wow that sucks.
