I just got up and damn it is cold in here this morning! Am I the ONLY person in the world who likes Summer and actually misses Summer weather? Ha . . .yes, you are definitely not in the "what kind of car does he drive" circle. Yeah, I guess there is just a lot of materialism in Dallas compared to other places I've been like SF or Baltimore. NYC is sort of a weird mix. It doesn't really matter to me, I guess I just see it as sort of sad . . .people spend so much time and energy trying to make more money you wonder in the abstract what things they are missing out on or sacrificing. The best things in life are free. Well, except hydro and Cure tickets. But hey - I have BOTH!
It's probably good we are moving back in-town. This North Dallas/Suburban thing is just not me. Even if it's just Addison. Not my scene. I feel like a fish out of water here. I don't even own a baseball cap. And I hate watching sports.
Well I usually have been getting up about 5 or 5:30 so I can check email and stuff before making Denise breakfast when she's up at 6. But sometimes I'll go back to bed for a bit since, well, I have no job, haha.
