I've always enjoyed reading your entries. I think we spoke once on Yahoo. I was trying to get rid of all my furniture, books, etc... when I left Seattle. I'm in Reno now and hate it. Wish I was back in Seattle. I had always wanted to meet you before I left, but I'm a little shy and never got up the nerve to ask. However, I always enjoy reading your entries.
We seem to have a few things in common, the main one being the whole pill and sickness thing. I have been on meds, including narcotics, for a couple of years now, and I always got into reading about what you had to go through, since it reminded me in some ways of myself. It's why I'm living here now, with a friend, because Washington wasn't really helping me out. However, I learned the hard way that WA is a lot better about that stuff then Nevada. I had the social worker here say that this was the worst state I could have moved to in my condition to try to get any help. It really sucks. I'm staying with a friend, since I have no family or anyone to go to, but I know that it's hurting him financially to have me here. I hate it. I've always been self-sufficient, now I'm no where close. It just bites.
Ok, think I rambled long enough. I am female, btw. A fan of Courtney Love's as well, though my two favorites are Rose McGowan and Asia Argento. They both sing as well as act, and I am a major fan of each for all their talents and attitudes. I was never really one to go all 'fan girl', but since I started writing celeb RP, I've changed on that a bit. Lol. Plus it's opened my horizons to new actors/actresses and a lot of new music. I'm starting to get into the Australian Alternative scene, as well as a couple Italian bands. Plus, before RP, I had never even heard of Placebo, a travesty, I know. Now I really adore them.
Once again, rambling too much. Sorry about that. If you want to know anything else, just drop me a comment. I may be a little shy, but, as you can see, I have no problem rambling via computer. Ha. Hope to hear from you soon.
funny,im listeing to placebo now!! man im sorry i had forgotton all that about you..with LJ i talk to sooo many people i confuse them! nevada i bet has pill pushers on every corner! be careful girl!!! you should come back..we have a ton in common and we could help each other with recovery:)
I love 'Drink You Pretty'. No problem, I know what you mean. It's easy to forget people. Or get them mixed up. Haven't really dealt with dealers of any kind down here. The pills I take are all perscription, and are expensive enough. They keep adding more and upping dosages, and I have no insurance. It just sucks. I wish I could come back. I had to leave because my rent went up, and DSHS wasn't helping me out with it, at all. I was getting $200 a month from them and my rent was $750. Plus they said if I worked any more then a few hours a month, they'd take that and the medical away. Then someone new bought our building and wanted to up the rent by another $200 to $950.00!!!! Ridiculous. So I had to go. I really wish we could have met before I left. I want to move back there though, soon. And I may be up in August for a few days for a wedding. If I can find somewhere to stay. Obviously I can't afford a hotel, but I have friends up there still. Maybe we can still help each other from here, who knows.
very true, most of the help i get from people lately are online. all my good friends except 1 have moved out of state so it makes it hard. perscription drugs was my fix too as you have probally read in my journal...add me to yahoo:lipstickandcodeine i'd like to talk again:)
