a good week turned bad
this week was turning out to be pretty good overall: getting tests out of the way, writing a good paper, getting invited to the philosophy honors society...However, i just talked to my dad who has been talking all day to the insurance companies. apparently an entire section of my family's company was burned to the ground last night. they don't know what caused it either. it sucks because things have been going really well for them. i talked to my dad for a long time discussing what was to be done now. knowing him and my grandfather they'll be able to adapt, but it is still shitty. i just wish i could be there helping out.
