Kurt Vonnegut, Jr died today. He was 84 years old.
Vonnegut wrote in Time Quake, "If you want to hurt your parents, and don't have the guts to be homosexual, you become an artist."
i gave that book to my Dad two Christmases ago. A few weeks later, Dad called me, shrieking, "You damned lesbian!! I'm ONTO you, kid!"
Vonnegut will be sorely missed, in our house.
