It's been a while...
work today.
let me rephrase that. today i got paid to go to my history class. because i am awesome! and then i got paid to listen to students debating whether or not Lillian Hellman's falsifications in Pentimento added to or detracted from her stature as a writer.
good stuff.
i am also alone in my dorm room. the roommate has fled the school, opting to take an apartment in the city and party her days away. i could not get used to her being here, and now i can't get used to the silence.
weird. it's so open and clean in here now.
my boyfriend is off playing D&D. or as i call it, Geekfest. This means i won't get to talk to him til midnight. *pouts* what am i going to do with myself til then?
tomorrow we will run to the wilderness of northern wisconsin. my cousin Kurt is coming home on leave from Iraq, so the whole family is making a point of getting home. it will be nice to get back into the woods for a few days. Rob has photographic plans for me, apparently. (He keeps sending me e-mails in which he distracts me by being hot.)
