I saved a Best Buy gift a whole week for this day. The new Avenged Sevenfold album, Nightmare, and Batman: Under The Red Hood, a new Batman animated movie, were both released and I simply had to have them.
I already listened to Nightmare once in its entirety and I it's love. These guys may be a little campy at times and even a little over the top theatrical, but there's no denying they're one hell of a rock band and have massive amounts of musical talent. And I've come to love them for the way they just go for it and embrace that somewhat campy vibe. Anyway, there are a couple more ballads than on previous albums, but they still kick ass as much ass as ever. I'll post the video for the title track below, but it's not my favorite song on the disc; just the only one with a vid so far.
As for Batman: Under The Red Hood, I'm looking forward to a group viewing when Keith and Mike come over on Thursday. They actually read comics and we always get together to watch any new comic book related stuff that comes out.
In other news, I feel pretty bad for residents in Iowa whose lakefront property just became mud pit property.
