Another Binge

Two albums I wanted and had planned on buying opening day came out this past Tuesday, however, I resisted and decided not to buy them 'cause I've been trying to turn over a new leaf and not spend as much money in general. But upon receiving my pay stub today (I get direct deposit), I remembered I worked a whole lot of overtime last week and had a lot more money than I originally thought, so I went ahead and picked up both new albums (Broken Bells and the new Gorillaz) today, along with the rest you see here.

Broken Bells: new collaboration between Danger Mouse and Shins front man, James Mercer -- great stuff

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach: featuring guests from Snoop Dogg to Lou Reed

Alice In Chains - Facelift: just a classic that I should have picked up years ago

KoRn - See You On The Other Side: tried to hate for a long time, but ended up liking this band.

Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?: undeniable classic

Cracker - Kerosene Hat: With mid 90s hits like "Low" and "Get Off This", I can't help but reminisce about my younger days when hearing this. : )

Anti-Flag - The Terror State: Good, solid, modern punk, and I like me some punk, so why the hell not? (don't answer that)

White Lion - The Best Of White Lion: Still on a bit of a cheesy 80s rock kick. I've had the cassette for years and this upgrade was long overdue.

I also couldn't help picking this up when I saw it on sale for just $4.99...

Revolver: 2005 Guy Ritchie film starring Jason Statham, Ray Liota, Vincent Pastore and Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000 of Outkast)

*long sigh* Once again, I completely fail at self control. : /
