Return?
Hello, old friends/internet acquaintances. I can't even tell you how long it's been since I've posted here, but I've been missing it lately and have been thinking of coming back for a while. So here I am, quite a ways past my bedtime on a Sunday night (it's 11:25 pm and I work at 5:00 am), somewhat buzzed and finally dipping my toe into the LJ water. I scrolled down my friends feed, commenting on just a couple posts, and I see just a small handful of my friends have posted recently. I'm hoping to sign in to catch up and post once a week, so we'll see if that's the case in the long run. If so, maybe I'll do some friend shopping to flesh my feed out again.
Anyway, much has changed in my life since I've last frequented this site. I'm working a part-time job on top of my old, going-nowhere full-time for a total of 60-70 hours a week, which isn't fun or ideal but will hopefully change within a few months. I've been dating a beautiful woman I love dearly, Monique (pictured below), for just over a year and that's been great if not without obstacles, for a little over a year. And there's more, but I'm running out of steam.
