Snow Day
I never get sick of waking up to this view.
Southwest Michigan has been under a winter storm warning since yesterday morning and I don't have to go into work today (a nice perk of working for a small-ish company) so I'm thinking it's a good day to stay home in the blowing, drifting snow and -30 degree wind chill, sit around and do nothing. Maybe read, play a video game and watch some stuff all cozy in my apartment with my free heat.
I'm not a big fan of winter, but there's not much more visually pleasing than a fresh blanket of snow and I'm in a sharing mood, so there are a few more pics under showing the calm before the storm and the storm under the cut. I actually just grabbed my phone off the night stand and took pics in which you see the window pane from bed. Except for the one in which you can see the bed. I have it positioned in the room so I can lay on my back and look straight ahead out the window 'cause I like it that way. I get shit from some friends about it being poor feng shui, but I couldn't care less.
Bonus: I had to pull over on my way to my parents' for this Christmas Eve sunset.
