Busy Week

Dec 05, 2012 15:23

Sunday night was the Jackyl concert, which surprisingly turned out to be one of the best concerts I've seen (and I've seen many). They put on a great show and I'd recommend attending one (mine was only $10) to anyone who enjoys that kind of music.

I had freinds over yesterday and didn't have any free time to myself until midnight. I tried to do some catching up on LJ before going to bed, but I blinked and it was 2am, so that didn't quite work out as planned.

Tonight, I'm going back to the same venue to see Nonpoint for what I think will be my sixth time. It's been a couple of years and I'm totally looking forward to it even though they don't quite appeal to me overall as much as they used to. Been listening to them all day at work though and it's sounding great, so there's that. I'm pretty sure I "Buscandome" on here before, but I'm going to post it again because it kicks that much ass. Possibly my favorite Spanish language hard rock or metal song (Nonpoint's vocalist, Elias Soriano, and drummer, Robb Rivera, are Puerto Rican). Below that will be "What A Day", which to this day is they're most widely recognized single and then "Tribute", an homage to classic hip-hop which I enjoy.

Anyway, tomorrow, if I get enough sleep tonight, I'm getting dinner with a friend and probably going to see Rise of the Guardians, so it might be Friday or Saturday before I get much time to catch up on here, but I will. Eventually.
