Moonrise Kingdom
I saw the newest Wes Anderson film, Moonrise Kingdom, which I've been looking forward to seeing for months, today and loved it. I'm even hoping to see it again before it leaves theaters.
Today's Bad Movie Night™ consisted of Disney's Black Hole and Alien in L.A. (we sadly watched the MST3K version - I'd rather make fun of it myself than watch others make fun of it). Alien in L.A. was inspired by Mike's new mattress he just purchased (the star of the film put her name on the mattress). Good times, although we talked through both enough that I'd have to see them again before giving either a fair review.
T minus seven days until Mayhem Fest 2012: Anthrax, Slayer, Motörhead, and Slipknot among others. Can't fucking wait. It's going to rock and stuff.
