I finally watched Face/Off tonight. I've been borrowing the DVD from my friend, Jessica for...about five years now? Don't worry, we're close friends and I see her and her husband (also a close friend) regularly, so it's not like I ran off with it or lost it. I even tried to give it back a few times and she insisted that I keep it until I watch it. ANYWAY, people love to hate on Nic Cage, but I rather enjoyed the film.

Sure, it has it's stupid bits and Cage's acting can be a little painful to watch at times, but even more painful is this thing someone decided would be great to show the hero's tenderness. REPEATEDLY. Feel free to mute the stupid commentary on this vid..

Other than that, John Woo directed it and it's not his best work, but it did have some cool action sequences. Anyway, it was an entertaining film if not exactly "good", and I don't regret watching it. Now it's 2am and I'm going to try and seize the five remaining hours of sleep I have left.
