I'm not entirely familiar with his solo work, or even what he's done with Genesis, but from what I've heard. . . for the most part I like him best with Genesis. Very nice to see him represented in the living room! :D

Haha his solo stuff is mostly more contemporary soft rock while Genesis was more alternative rock. Still, he did have a few gems in his solo work. Most notably this one...
