Thinking about past...

Lately, I've been thinking of my past life. By past life, I mean my life 1, 5 or 10 years ago.

It's surprisingly easy to forget something that you used to be a big part of your life, if you just don't do it anymore.

For example, I always used to dress up in my bed. I'd take all my clothes with me to bed, and then I'd dress up sitting there. ( Read more... )

I don't think it was so much a language barrier as a a fierce self-preservation instinct that kept you from understanding Backstreet Boys lyrics.

But that's just me.

I vaguely remember one Take That song. And one Westlife. And Blue. And Robbie.
I was more of a BBMak girl, myself. The britpop bands of the last ten years (going back to when I was a wee seven year old) typically haven't had any lasting fame in Canada.

And Sivu, I agree with Alexia. It's difficult to tell that you aren't a native speaker; especially since netspeak has corrupted our generation's grammar.
