I had school also today, though it’s Saturday, because we had mock finals on Swedish. (Who idiot decided to have it on Saturday?!?) It was pretty easy, and I left already after 3,5 hours, the maximum time being 6 hours. I also found out how many points I got from my Swedish listening comprehension: 82/90!!!! It was incredible. I’m so happy.
Mum and Dad went off to some birthday party of their friends to another town. Yay, and Mum will come back only tomorrow, Dad after a week (he goes to India on the way). This means I won’t have to worry about doing anything useful :) How good can life get? Plus, sister K is not home either, so she won’t be bugging me to let her be on computer either.
So, I saw House of Flying Daggers yesterday.
I loved the film. Maybe not as much as I loved Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, but lots. I think it was very humorous, and actors very talented. Also the colours, the music and setting were something I concider incredible.
And. Oh. My. God. Takeshi Kaneshiro, the one who plays Jin. He. Was. So. Hot. Look
here. Or
here. Or
here. Or find more on Google ^_^
When I first saw him, I was like ohmygodthoseeyesandthoseeyebrowsandthoseclothes, and the more I saw him the more I liked him. And yes, that is only physical attarction to this
sexy guy, because I know nothing of him.
His character was always very funny:
JIN: I shall be happy to take this job, have you seen her? She is pretty beautiful, and I like to flirt with girls.
LEO: Be careful, though.
JIN: Oh, don’t worry, if I die I shall be able to flirt as a ghost.
SIVULLINEN: *laughs*
And here is still one picture of
Jin and Leo. Jin in purple clothes.
One more aspect I liked in this film: they didn’t answer all th question. Like, who one the final battle, Flying Daggers or soldiers.
The snow in the end was a bit too much. And how Mei just didn’t die.
I wish Mei had killed Jin, not cut his ropes and had sex with him. Well, okay, sex was okay (I saw Jin without shirt, but I would have liked it so much more if Mei would have decided that loyalty to her secret organization was more important than love. (I’m not a bitter spinster, but I have seen too many movies in which love wins.)
I think I will buy this movie once it will be available on DVD in Finland.
