Hana Kimi, the jdrama
mu51ing_drag0n asked me to post about Hana Kimi (among other things *g*) Man, I really hope I didn't screw up all these LJ cuts...
everything you need to know about this show, in four points
First of all: when I was screencapping ep 2 at the same time as watching it (for the first time; yeah I just started this drama), I originally started with serious capnames such as "molest", but soon had to retreat to names like "jadhk" because THAT'S ALL I COULD SAY AT THAT MOMENT. Wow.
Secondly, the characters have the urge to shout things like this:
Thirdly, Horikita Maki aka the girl in leading role, also known from Nobuta wo Produce, is beyond awesome. She totally kicks all those boys ass.
Plus, she's just too cute:
SOME PEOPLE CAN'T RESIST:
Fourthly, on top of Maki you get a big cast of really cute boys!
LITERALLY:
In general, I really love how we get all these flashbacks, backstory, along the way. It's really easy to get into this show, because it goes staight to action, but at first this show seems shallow. However, as we learn more we see that there's actually more to it than giggling immaturely at boys running around wearing golden cloaks. EVEN THOUGH THE CRACK IS COOL TOO. Everyone is pretty much as insane as Akira from Nobuta wo Produce, which means quite a bit. And that's about when it stops being wtf and starts being enjoyable, because it's just how it is.

And then a few comments on two characters:
1. SANO IS AWESOME. He is so gay that he has make up this story that whenever he eats/drinks even a hint of alcohol, he gets SO DRUNK and turns into a KISSING MONSTER, aka starts kissing anyone who is near! And has thus far made out with 78% of his schoolmates.
I love him. ♥_♥

I also love how he takes gentlemanny walks with his dog. FTW.
2. Everyone who has seen the show probably has heard squee about this very same thing so much already, but here it goes again:
NAKATSU SHUICHI.
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYTHING GAYER.
HE GLOWS PINK.
THIS IS HIS REACTION TO HEARING HE CAN TAKE PART IN A BEAUTY TALENT CONTEST.
IN WHICH HIS TALENT IS STRIPPING WHILE KICKING A BALL.
OH AND HE ENJOYS THESE ACTIVITIES.
(oh please tell me there are some behind the scenes videos about filming these scenes...)
To sum up, my reaction to this show is pretty much this:
