It's getting me really stressed. I know a lot of people out there just dont care, but i do. Ok fine, Kerry may not be the next Kennedy or even the next Clinton, but in a lot of ways my future depends on a win for Kerry. If Bush wins i'll more than likely never be allowed to marry (eventhough Bush has never met me he still thinks it is ok to have control over this issue....go figure huh?), this rediculous war in Iraq will continue (and the real terrorists will continue to hide in the mountains), global warming will speed up by at least 25 years (i'll see the effects happen during my lifetime), and we can all just forget about health care (unless one of us wins the lottery). It just wouldnt be a good thing.
I honestly DO NOT understand why someone would vote for Bush. Believe me! i've tried to look at it from the Republican perspective and then from no perspective at all and i just dont get it! WTF?!? I honestly think that most of the people voting for Bush are just afraid of change, especially one this important at war time. Well i'm sorry you are all so afraid, but suck it up damnit!! You're screwing up your country!!
Anyway, aside from the election, everything is pretty calm and normal in my world. I'm really looking forward to my date with Dave this weekend; he's a cool kid, he makes me laugh. I'm sore from working out at the gym the past week, but i am DETERMINED to be "hot travis" by the end of this semester ::crosses fingers::. Other than that, nothing new is happening. Payce!
P.S.-- It really sucks that MASSPIRG screwed a lot of people over by messing up their ballots or whatever. That's really not cool. Haha my heart especially goes out to Kyle, who was directly impacted by this grave injustice.
