Shapino Robert. "DNA, art, and hereafter."
Art Journal v55 n1. Spring 1996. pg 75(4)

I found this article online from the library’s list of journals. This article talks about how king Tut's tomb has much evidence of what the Egyptians thought of the afterlife. This article will be very useful to show the significance of the coffin and how it relates to Egyptians culture and religion.

Kurt Lange, and Max Hirminer. Egypt.
New York: Phaidon Publishers INC, 1968.

I found this book at the PCC west library. This book is very informative about the different coffin within Tut’s tomb. The descriptions of each part, why they were made and what they were used for.

H.W. Janson, and Dora Jane Janson. History of Art.
New York: Harry N. Abrams Inc,1971

This book was found at the PCC West campus. This book includes information for both essays. There’s information on both coffins of Tutankhamen and the Asiatic Sarcophagus with Kline Portrait of a woman. There is also information about late Hindu and Buddhism art.

Raymond Bloch. Etruscan Art.
Milano, Italy: Barriet Rockliff, 1965

This book was found at the PCC west campus. It includes information about the sarcophagus with reclining couple from Cerveteri and the culture behind the coffin.
This will be informative for my presentation because of all the info related to the culture.

German Hafner. Art of Rome ,Eturia and Magnia Graecia.
New York: Harry N. Abrams, 1969

This book I found at the PCC library. It shows information of the sarcophagus on the materials made and some of the culture behind the look as well. I believe I can use a lot of pictures and information from this book.

Author unknown, “ Etruscan Art.”
New York Times, October 3, 1857. page 4

This article tells about geeks influence on Etruscan art. It mostly compares the different art pieces from both ages and shows the influence. I think this article will help out on my essay by showing how it's influence by other art as well as how it influenced other art in later ages.
