soo, we watched Pan's Labrynth last night.
expecting: visually wonderful fantasy about a child's escape.
witnessed: WHAT IS HE DOING TO THAT MAN'S FACE?!?!? OOH, DON'T CUT THERE!!!

i mean, it was still a good movie. but when expectations are vastly different than what exists... wow. and i have a hard time with gore. i can stand B-movie-ridiculous-zombie-violence. that is silly. but as it becomes more realistic (as far as i would know) then i just freak out. i had to have bill read the freakin' subtitles because i couldnt' watch the screen.
