felt God directing me to attend eagle city mission's church service last evening, and obeyed though i was progressing very well with my studies in the library. experienced healing and closure, though i thought i had been healed and gained closure (:
God spoke into my life through the life story of Graham Cooke- a reminder God's faithfulness and blessing; reminder of God's love and mercy; reminder of standing up for what is right though circumstances dont agree with it. even after discouragement and self-doubt and trying to convince myself that God didnt direct me to point out what was wrong in the first place.
following that, whatever the consequences were, no matter how discouraging or upsetting, to remain worshipping God every day. God uses circumstances to shape us; our Mighty and loving God will always carry us through the difficult times, and set our feet upon the rock.
and even after moving on to a new ministry, with people of the previous one trying to discourage you and putting obstacles in your way always, trust that God is still ever-present. you'll be surprised how petitioning and praying and seeking the Scriptures, may actually be part of God's plan to strengthen your soul and spirit (:
