Seven quirks/habits of your pet:
Sonny, the sun conure parrot...
1) Thinks Q-tips are the greatest toys ever. He holds them in his tiny foot/fist like they're a royal scepter. Or a turkey drumstick.
2) Has the knack of imitating laughter whilst misbehaving. Does he know what he's doing? Evidence is inconclusive. He imitates my laughter and A's, and switches back and forth. His imitation of A's low laughter makes him sound possessed... in a cute way... sort of.
3) Bites holes in shirts. We're 90% sure he does this so that when he finally manages to crawl down your collar he can see out through the hole like he's driving a tank.
4) Is working on notifying me whenever he's about to take a crap on my shirt. Which is often.
5) Attacks paper towels, garbage bags, and the telephone unless he recognizes the voice on the other end.
6) Really likes to "kiss" the tea tree oil chap stick off my lips.
7) Makes these tiny grunting noises when he gets his dinner of "bean cuisine;" A calls them his old-man noises, I think he sounds like a pig. He gets noodle mush all over his beak, too.
