Hiking pics in Bear Canyon.

This one is NCAR, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, or some such. Usually, from any given point in Boulder, these buildings are visible high above you to the west. There's a whole complex of them, but in this picture, I'm actually standing just down hill and looking north-east at them, so you can hardly see them.




This one is just some agave, which I thought had lovely silhouettes against the morning sky. Agave nectar is a popular sweetener sold at the Hut, but I imagine milking these plants for their sweetness is a prickly and thankless job. That must be why agave is $38 for a gallon. Good thing cars don't run on it!
