I'm officially moved into the house, pink satin sheets and all. It doesn't feel like home yet, but I guess that's to be expected. I found out some strange information tonight. Njuhi (my roommate...pronounced "joe-hay") and I were talking about our habits (morning person, night owl, drinking, smoking, etc.) and she was like "yeah, ever since we decided to room together everyone has decided to come up and talk to me about you." Apparantly I have the reputation of being THE party girl of Bryn Mawr College. People whom I've never officially met, just kinda seen have been talking to her about how much I party, and my friends and people who lived in Merion last year have all been coming up to Njuhi completely shocked that such a sweet girl would be living with such an insane party animal.

This shows a few things about Bryn Mawr:
1) If I were at any other school I would be normal, if not less than normal, because I go out once or twice a week...clearly this would not qualify me for "party animal" status. Therefore Bryn Mawr is the collegiate equivalent of the teacher's pet with a redwood tree up it's ass.
2) Bryn Mawr may be all about female liberation but I have never in my life seen a place that is so gossip-centerd. Honestly.

I don't even know where I'm going with this post. I'm a little pissed that people are talking about me, I'm a little flattered that people are talking about me, and mostly I'm just weirded out. These two girls came into Tennis Junction today from Bryn Mawr (they were wearing tshirts) and were all like "OMG how are you? where are you living this year? it's so good to see you!" and I did not have a CLUE who EITHER of those girls were. And a few months ago a picture of me and a friend of mine showed up on facebook titled "Bryn Mawr's Socialites" posted by a girl I'd never met, taken at a party at Haverford I'd been to. Yeah, I'm definitely weirded the hell out.
