Ok, I do think Timbaland is a great producer.
I've always been a fan of his music, especially his eye for intricate rhythmical details.
However, lately (which really means the last 9 years or so), more and more artists hire Timbaland
to produce their music - sometimes to the extent that their own musical personae fades into
the overproduced RnB framework that defines Timbaland. He's involved in ridiculusly amounts of
the music on the market. And I actually find it kind of boring.
The Duran Duran collaboration was a total disaster.
- The last one to surrender is Chris Cornell. His whole new album, "Scream", is timbalandified,
and I'm not too pleased to be honest. What do you guys think?
