This was ganked from
fieryedhead and
thebigpants 1. What are you MOST looking forward to at Dragoncon (other than seeing your friends :P)?
Wearing costumes with said friends
2. What are you LEAST looking forward to/dreading at Dragoncon?
Sore feet, rude hotel staff and feeling tired. Elevator waits.
3. What are your Dragoncon pet peeves?
Trying to find healthy food.
4. How many costumes are your bringing this year (and how done are you?)
7. Maybe 2 or 3 aren't quite finished.
5. Planning on being a part of any costume groups? Any particular photo shoots you got planned?
Yes on the costume groups, at least 3 or 4. The location isn't always conducive to every costume, but I might do a shoot.
6. Do you have any Dragoncon traditions?
Dinner with friends.
7. Anything in particular you plan on accomplishing this year?
Not changing costumes too much, it's obnoxious.
8. Where do you think you will be at 1 am on Friday night?
Costuming with the girls or with Bob
9. What costume do you think we will be seeing WAY too much of this year?
Steampunk. Though as long as they look cool, seeing way too much won't necessarily be a bad thing.
10. What costume will we be not be seeing enough of, do you think?
I agree with
thebigpants; original creations that are actually good!
11. What do you think Dragoncon always has too much of (not costume-wise)?
Perverts. And some staff who have no common sense.
12. What do you think Dragoncon doesn't have ENOUGH of?
Deodorant and healthy food.
13. If you could make one suggestion to the Dragoncon staff to improve DC as a whole, what would it be?
The staff has lately been getting very cocky and they need to drop the good 'ol boy network with panels and such. DC needs to consider that if they don't take care of their con and panels and if they continue treating it like it will "always" be there, they are going to lose attendees and have crappy panels and the same old guests every year that people aren't interested in seeing. Keep it fresh, keep it new, keep it professional and organized and you'll attract more and the same people. Keep it old, dull, rude and annoying and we will continue to hear our friends and other people saying that they'd rather spend their money doing something else. Especially when the economy is hurting. Every year we have someone else saying they aren't going to be there and that it's not worth it anymore. If we didn't live so close, we probably wouldn't spend the extra money to fly out here either. Better nip that in the bud before it becomes a huge problem.
