Megacon is over
Yay, my night elf won in the Megacon costume contest - Best Technical Achievement. And another Night Elf won Judges Choice - go World of Warcraft hehehe! I had a lot of issues with the costume being stubborn so I need to work some kinks out of it before Dragoncon. Just little things like the ears need to be better, the shoulders tend to want to droop under the weight and I want to put a gusset thing in the pants. Otherwise the costume will become a "bad mood" thing which isn't much fun. I don't want high maintenance pieces.
Before we left I got my picture taken with The Defuser and said goodbye to some friends. Also, thebigpants now has a pair of the kitty ears *Grin* I made sure before we left to phone her and have her pick out a pair. Now we can join kittysparkles in kitty goodness since she started the whole ear thing with her fairy. I will have to make up a costume for mine. I also bought a second pair that match my hair so that I can wear them with other things besides pink.
