Yes a real shame, I hope they get positive mental illness treatment.

WOW I've never understood why people can do that and be content with the living space. I know people even joke about college students and bachelors but everyone has their "limit" and cleans it up at that point.

The rest must be mental illness.

That really is awful. I hope they get those people some mental help. I'm willing to bet that she has no idea that she did something wrong. A true animal collector.

I do hope they get help. Clearly the situation is a huge mental illness. And we know that the husband was aware something was wrong for years and just acted passive to prevent any marital conflict. He needs help too.

I've never understood how anyone can tolerate that amount of garbage and refuse in their living quarters. I'm not spic an span but that's just nuts.

Thank you both for trying to help those animals before it was too late. It's sad no one listened.

It was very sad that animal control acted so non-chalant about it. "Unless we can see abuse going on then we can't do anything." All you had to do was have them open the door and SMELL it to know that the beginnings of something terribly wrong was going on there. I've never smelled anything that gross in my life and if it hurt us at the time with burning, I know it has to be bad now.

Anyway, it's a shame you weren't there. Not that I'd want you to smell it but you would have done something too. Hahaha you probably would have told them off to their faces.

Gross...every once in awhile they have stories like that on the news about how they find dogs/cats feeding on the remains of other dogs/cats in some nasty poop-ridden abandoned house.

WTF? What is it with Bob being slandered on the internet?!

Yeah that's really weird that it happens so often. WTF.

And Bob is just popular like that and stuff.
