Murphy's law states that if you have trouble finding something, when you do find it, it will be the most expensive thing available.
Figures. That's what happened today with buying my wig. I needed a specific color, length and style. I went to the wig shop and sure enough, the only one that came in that style was a human hair wig *eyes narrow* There goes $128. At least the lady threw in the head foam head and a pin for free.
Granted, there was one other wig that could have passed, but it had too much layering in front. And it also didn't have the body and realness that the human hair wig had. Even Bob agreed when I tried on both, that the expensive one was the best. The synthetic wig looked way more like a wig. Not that I care, but it's nicer to have something that looks real and has the appropriate style than settling on something that kind of does.
The HH wig is beautiful btw. Bob is sold on getting one for his pirate. He's wrecked two wigs - about the price of one HH wig. They don't tangle and you can style them with hot irons and they look and feel more real. I really love this one and hope that I can use it for other things. Not hope, I WILL find a use for the price I paid.

We also managed to find my fabric again, I was so afraid we wouldn't be able to match it.
Hancock's has not gone out of business yet. *Thank God* The bad news is that both Joanne's and Hancock's have filed chapter 11 debt relief. So at any time their stores could shut down.
WTF are we going to do if they both go out of business? Ordering fabric online is kind of a pain.
