I got my 2 private lessons in. Lot's of Kata practice which has made me nice and sore. You wouldn't think it would do that but yeah. My right shoulder muscle is hurting, my back hurts, my legs hurt. My right knee is acting wonky (I think I hurt it with all the kicking) and my neck is fairly stiff too. Hahaha never thought I'd be happy about that kind of stuff but it's all good. I've dropped a couple of pounds as well. Need to keep doing that!
Plus he had me do all kinds of kicks one after another, (both legs) so I got in some good cardiovascular work (aka *pant pant pant*) He'd have me do all of this in sequence on one leg, then the other: Back leg roundhouse and set down, front leg roundhouse, step up round house, cross over roundhouse, flying roundhouse. Switch legs, repeat. Add to that some, front kicks, side kicks, hook kicks and back kicks and you wear your arse out.
I also went for some long walks and today I'm going biking again. Not sure why exercise is more fun in Red Deer.
