Weekend Report
On Friday Maboroshi arrived around 8pm. We went out for Sushi and had a good chat. He brought a nice friend Carol Ann and she stayed over too. Talked about photography, costuming and the like. Sushi was great! I cleaned up the costuming room so that they had somewhere nice to sleep.
We stayed up until probably 1am watching a movie and chatting. Mab is so nice! I'm glad that I got to know him better.
They left early the next morning for the Saturday photoshoot. It was raining so I hope things turned out ok.
On Sunday we went to the Roswell Mill photoshoot. I did my new brown dress/elf costume and Bob took pictures of me with the new camera while I waited for Maboroshi to finish with other people. I got to meet plenty of nice costuming folk which is always cool. Also got to see jedibubbles and animiko in person again! *WAVES* It was cool that Animiko drove up from Orlando for it but wow! That's a drive. Carl and his wife also came which was fun! Bob had someone he knew there.
The location was very pretty with a river, bridges and a waterfall. Bob almost busted his ass on the waterfall rocks. He took a butt dive on slippery slime and I was like O_O We got some great photos though! I will have to go back out there some time.
We were out until 7pm and it was worth it.
Maboroshi is planning on coming back in June - Bob and I are going to host a photoshoot at Arabia mountain/Panola Park or whatever it's called, while another girl is going to host one far on the north side. They are almost on opposite ends! We are also planning on hosting one in Savannah but Bob and I need to go down there one weekend first to scout it out.
