Orlando Day 2
We got up at 8am and ate our typical breakfast at the hotel. Yums for free food!
At 10am Jeff S. gave us a tour of DAVE school once again. Man that place has changed. We've known them since they were a trailer on the back lot of Universal studios to now having a huge facility on site, with a theater and green screen studio. They even have motion capture cameras! I'm hoping they will film another commercial with us since that was so much fun! I'm going to ask him this weekend.
Carl and his wife showed up just in time for us all to receive free 1yr passes to Universal Studios. OMG *KILLS JEFF WITH HUGS* So now we *have* to come back to Orlando to take advantage of being able to play in both parks any time, free parking, 15% discount on food and hotels and more! O_O what a deal!
We immediately headed over to the parks :) :)
In Islands of Adventure we rode the Hulk , and Spiderman, took lots of pictures and ate lunch. After lunch we rode the dueling dragons and then headed over to Universal studios to ride on the new Mummy ride. It was surprisingly fun. It is a roller coaster in the dark and it doesn't go upside down, but the dark more than makes up for that part. -_- Both Jackie and I got busted screaming when the thing took our photo. I don't normally freak on rides but this one went backwards and sideways, stops suddenly in places and also drops you into pitch blackness. Damn it. It's fun if you can handle total unpredictability.
Bob bought the photo because he looks like Elvis (all cool) and both the girls (and carl) are screaming their pants off. I will scan it when I get home and show ya. It's pretty damn funny to see us being weenies.
Here I am, proving I can kick @$$ even if I screamed like a girl *grins*
After the park we went to the outlet stores and I bought $550 worth of Guess clothing for $300. 1 fitted jacket, 2 pairs of high heels, 2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts, a purse and wallet and 2 pairs of earrings :)
Thanks for the $100 mom! You bought me shoes!
Tom then bought us all-you-can-eat lobster and crab legs :) I feel like a stuffed.
