Are the methods of choosing who is covered and who is not covered public? On that same note, is there any liability to insurance companies as it stands now, should they rescind care? Were you aware that currently, many insurance companies consider prior abuse, such as rape, to be a pre-existing condition which would result in denial of coverage? That is rather the sort of thing which health care reform is meant to stop, wouldn't you think?
Where has it been said that the government will mandate which physicians are and are not participating for *all* plans, or that they will mandate what treatments are covered and how? Please note that I am not asking for references to scare tactics used by media or lobbyists, but quotes of proposed or drafted bills. As I recall, the text of bills which are voted on in Congress or the Senate do generally have to be made somewhat public. So where are you seeing the absolute control over all health care which you appear to be concerned over?
Free markets are good, yes. The insurance industry is not, currently, a free market as such. It's not quite a monopoly, but it's certainly a very controlled market. In point of fact, one could draw a large number of analogies between the insurance industry and the banking industry right now.

The key issue that we are talking about is congress is trying to pass something that will majorly change things and open debate and reporting is not being allowed.
I do not love insurance companies, but I understand their motives, make money.
truly not happy now for a procedure done the summer the insurance company changed it mind and is not paying for all of what they said they were. I do not have the whole story because we haven't talked to them to ask.
