I was going to write and study and be productive, but I ended up watching Merlin and beading instead. I finished another Snow White.
This is the one I made last year.
It's pretty much the same, so I didn't bother taking a picture of this one.
Then I made him.
He was an experiment, but I'm still really tempted to take him apart, or at least take apart the foot that is wandering off to the side. You can tell I really wasn't paying attention when I did that.
What I'd really like to do, but I don't have the know-how, is some how rig him up so that he sits on top of one of those grape lights, or a ball with an LED light inside that attaches to a Christmas light, you know, like an ornament that plugs in to the lights? I think it'd be cute, especially if it was brightly colored, like red or yellow, but yeah, haven't got a clue how to do that, and even if I did, Christmas lights are $20 a strand here so... no. But yeah, I really hope there's enough string to salvage under that foot so I can at least knot the body (they're attached). I didn't realize I'd done it till it was already knotted, glued, and cut. He's cute though, I think. Pretty plain, but I dunno... maybe I'll figure out some way to spice him up. I'm thinking of doing him for Christmas presents, since I can't really afford the ones I want to do, though it would make more sense not to use the Swarovski crystals in the ears. I think a muted color would look better anyway. They sell those super cheap too.
Any ideas?
I forgot to eat dinner again, and now it's 10 o'clock.... bugger. Hope eating soup this late won't keep me up. So not getting to bed before 11 anyway. Ugh. Glad tomorrow's half Tom & Jerry in two of my classes, and here's to hoping I don't shut down in my last class like I did Wednesday. Yikes.
