Pete Seeger
PBS has a Pete Seeger special on. Seeger is in many ways the soundtrack of my political soul. He was the first concert I ever went. I was a small child and went to one of his children's concerts. I can sing the Weaver arrangments of folk songs and most of his. Only most of his because he sings so many.
My parents were musical magpies and listened to so many styles of music from classical to jazz to rock to folk. However with Seeger, they showed me that what he was saying was so important.
