Little less than a month until MGS3:Subsistence and I am goin crazy with anticipation. Just picked up new copies of Metal Gear Solid PSX, and MGS2:Substance on ebay. Sucked that I had to buy em again cause they were stolen, but I had to to be ready for the big run through the whole story arc. The MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake are going to be included on the second extras disc in MGS3:Subsistence a long with the multiplayer. Also for those lucky enough to get a first shipment version of Subsistence there is goin to be a limited edition bonus DvD with a 45 minute documentary that ties all the games together and finishes off the speculations.
Decided to go with the original PSX version of Metal Gear Solid instead of the GC MGS: Twin Snakes remake cause I felt that the original was more on par for what I was looking for in my collection. Nice to have the games grow from the MSX 16-bit graphics to the 128MG 3d accelerated game engines of today.
Also my Valentine's day gift from Shelly was the 12" Medicom Naked Snake (Big Boss) action figure. Who ever designed the figure was very very articulate and had great attention to detail. I find myself consulting Snake sometimes now.
Other than that. The release date for FFVII Advent Children is now set for April, cross my fingers that they stick to this schedule, but after all the delays I won't be surprised if there are many more.
Also I still owe Peter a memory card that I told him I would send. Gave to Shelly to send at work and I found it under her car seat the other day.
