Update, by other means!
My computer has been having hardware problems, but a few days ago (it seems like an eternity) it went kaboom. A crash that led to 153 attempts at booting, followed by a short in the ac adapter. So now, it is a giant paperweight, until a) a new ac adapter, or b) my new computer comes in. In the meanwhile, I've read an obscene number of books from my shelves.
Mel visited this weekend (it's her computer I'm on, in fact) and we went to see Return of the King. Very nishe. I'm a purist, of course, so I could be annoying and list the issues I'd have....but that'd be silly. Good movie. Suffered from quadruple endings, but that's what the book did too, so I can't take issue, really. ;-)
As I am uncertain as to whether or not I'll have a chance (i.e. hardware) to post beforehand---- Christmas: Coming up. ;-) I'll be spending a remarkable amount of time NOT at home, but this was pretty much to be expected--not even staying the night christmas eve (I don't have a room anymore, after all).
In any case, I suppose I'll call it for now. Hopefully my comp will be nice and new soon. Adieu, all! Give me a call if you get bored. :)
