I got to work last and started up my computer only to find an e-mail from the Employee Health Office. The e-mail said that I need to call them as soon as possible. Then on my way out off work this morning my manager pulled me aside and that the Health Office is looking to suspend me because of my injury. I’ve been working for four months with the injury and all of a sudden NOW it’s an issue.
I stayed up late to call them because they don’t open up until 10 am. They told me that I have to submit a form that they would provide and that my doctor needs to fill out by the end of the day tomorrow, so that they can determine if it is safe for me to continue working.
Way to kick a man when his down.
