Office hours [all day]

Anakin was in his office, working on his final exam questions and studying Italian.

Well, food and curse words. A man has to have his priorities.

The door was open.

Around the same time as usual, Jaina stopped by the office, knocking at the doorframe.

Anakin beamed at her. "Hi," he said. "Come in."

[solo_sword]

She did, already liking that this didn't feel as potentially uncomfortable as last week. "And how are you this week?"

[sith_happened]

"Buona," Anakin replied with a smile. "I'm working on a new language."

[solo_sword]

"You didn't just curse at me, did you?" Had to check with him and new languages.

[sith_happened]

He laughed. "Not unless I did something very wrong," he said. "I said I'm good."

[solo_sword]

She took a seat, asking, "So what are you learning and what for?"

[sith_happened]

"I'm learning Italian," Anakin said, smiling. "Rory and I are going to Italy for our honeymoon. Obi-Wan insisted on being able to speak to the locals."

Jaina thought for a second. "That's the boot country, right?" Yes, she'd done some geography research.

"Very good," Anakin praised. "Lots of art and history and excellent food."

Anakin looked very pleased with himself for choosing it.

"You're into art?" she asked, looking surprised. Oddly enough that surprise came from her not being into it at all.

[sith_happened]

He shrugged, embarrassed. "I can't make it, but I can appreciate something done well," he said.

[solo_sword]

"Then I hope you enjoy it," Jaina said. "Not too much longer, huh?"

[sith_happened]

"Less than a month," Anakin said. "It's gone quickly." He shook his head. "And Luke graduates before that...It's only at the end of the year when I start feeling my age."

[solo_sword]

"Well, you're old," she said helpfully.

[sith_happened]

"Thanks for that," Anakin said. "Now I won't invite you to my birthday dinner."
